Celebrating Ilhan Omar!!!!

We celebrated Ilhan Omar on November, 12th  who is the first female, Somali, refugee elected State Representative in Minnesota. We called on all our Refugee brothers and sisters in Syracuse and hosted an evening of recognition. She is such an inspiration to our community, being women our selves we recognize the challenges that she has faced, and we celebrate the strength and bravery in her success!!! She is a beacon of hope for all of us. CONGRATULATIONS ILHAN OMAR… WE STAND WITH YOU.
