College Prep

Our girls attending college prep event!

On October 2016, we begin Regent Exam Review classes every Saturday to assist young refugee women excel in school. We realized that the girls that attended the session regularly had passed the exam with 80’s and above. We decided to continue with the extra help they needed and now we are hosting classes twice a week.

Currently we have classes on Every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.  Even though it is summer we have 40 students showing up at our door step for extra help.

We have professional teachers from the city school’s giving their time to our students and they are eager to see our students succeed in school. We hope to encourage our girls to work harder, and exceed their own expectations. 

We also host English and Citizenship Classes for Adults (Friday & Saturday 9-11am). We hope to see these grow in numbers and see them make a difference in our community.
